Everyone who goes to Royal Ascot knows to dress up and wear a hat is a must. Many ladies spend the day showing their outfit rather than watch the races. Every time I have attended has been very memorable for so many reasons. As a milliner I spend the day looking at the hats and seeing that they compliment the outfit and sit perfectly on the head. Two years ago a young lady wore her hat with the black elastic under her chin. This brought childhood memories flooding back when we wore boaters with black elastic positioned under our chins too.
I wonder what I will see this year.

Whether you are the mother of the bride or groom, the bride herself or just a guest wanting to make a statement, here is our guide to wearing hats to a wedding. The points listed below are just a guide, but ultimately we would always suggest you wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. 1.
